The year of natural fibers is the highlight of the technical events of the XXIII CNTT

Students, teachers, businessmen and workers in the textile industry will have a great opportunity to expand their professional expertise even further. Relevant topics concerning economic, social, scientific and environmental issues will be presented in lectures and panels during the XXIII National Textile Technicians Congress (CNTT). Four theme panels, four production method improvement courses and 56 lectures will be provided to the attendees. Some of the prominent topics are fashion and trends, administration, human resources and business management and also reutilization of materials, therefore preserving the environment. Another highlight is the discussion on nanotechnology, a topic that has been the focus of attention in several other fields. Nanotechnology is the potential capacity to create devices from the smallest things. Through the employment of scientific techniques and tools, atoms and molecules are places in the desired place.

Technical events

Under the coordination of Frits V. Herbold, the event's technical director, the schedule of XXIII CNTT will have as focal topic "2009 ? The UN year of natural fibers". The organizing commission has recently issued an invitation to bid for organization and secretarial services for the event and also for the official travel agency. After a judicious evaluation of the bids, it was decided that the company Malu Losso - Relações Públicas e Eventos Ltda will be in charge of the organization and secretarial services of XXIII CNTT. The official travel agency is Ecology Passagens e Turismo Ltda.
