The 5th largest capital in the world is ready to host a major Latin American textile industry fair. Tecnotêxtil Brazil will be held in São Paulo in April 14-17 2009. Hosted in Expocenter Norte, the first edition of the event will present the latest machines, state-of-the-art technology, innovations and new accomplishments in the industry. It is promoted by the experienced FCEM Feiras, Congressos e Empreendimentos, which has organized, among other fairs, Febratex in Blumenau (SC) and Maquintex in Fortaleza (CE), which together receive more than 50 thousand visitors a year.

The project of holding the fair in São Paulo is already being considered a success by professionals in the field, since stands began to be sold a year and a half before its opening "We want to gather in Tecnotêxtil Brazil a set of small, medium and large groups and companies, but all of them with an expressive presence in the market. According to the organizers, more than 20 thousand visitors are expected at the fair. The idea is also to promote discussions in Tecnotêxtil Brazil about the current state of the textile market, always relying on the collaboration of the Brazilian Association of Textile Technicians, our great partner", said the businessman.
